Trib La Prade began his photography work during the early ‘90s in Richmond, Virginia as a portrait photographer. He also did commercial work, photographing for talent management organizations, companies, and a regional music magazine. After moving to Jacksonville, Florida in 1998, he changed directions and poured his photographic energies into fine art photography. With a lot of soul searching, he honed his feelings and technique about his art utilizing various cameras, traditional black and white darkroom techniques, and digital manipulation and output.

Trib graduated from U.C.L.A. in 1986 with a B.S. in Engineering. He is predominantly self taught photographically and has been a student of his craft since the late 1980s. He has been helping FCCJ’s Dance department for the last five years and is a member of their danceWORKS visionary board. He has also been coaching the Pole Vault for the last nine seasons at Bolles High School and with the Anti Gravity Pole Vault Club, both of which are in Jacksonville. He was an outstanding high school track and field athlete competing in the pole vault and sprint events. Trib competed on U.C.L.A.'s Track Team in the Pole Vault for three seasons.
